User Review:
I stumble across this flick on a very boring day and it saved my afternoon. Only for that it deserve the 5 stars i gave. now, i wanted to see how casper was doing after all these years since starship troopers and i actually can say he's doing fine, he is the best actor of the movie, by far. Second comes the black dude in the single-room super lab . forgot his name. the worst piece of acting comes from the son of casper's character. his acting is just horrible but mysteriously get better in the end of the movie. The "wife" is OK, good cry-face, hot enough to keep you entertained. the storyline sucks but that's not a shocker since the title itself tells it all. i won't spoil anything because there is nothing worth spoiling, everything is going steadily from start to end credits, no surprise at all, nothing funny, scary or relevant. BUT despite all this, 500mph is exactly the type of TV disaster movies that i love watching while in bed on Sunday afternoon, it has the exact combination of poor acting and lousy sfx that you need to switch off your brain in a secure non-thinking shelter it may also be the perfect alibi to cuddle with your gf and do nothing.
